ADHD and Depression: A Silent Epidemic pt. 2
Disclaimer: This podcast is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
Episode # 007: This is the second part of a series in which I explore the root causes behind depression and the mindsets that can contribute to it, and in the end, I’m going to delve into ways to overcome and deal with depression in a healthy and effective way. In this episode I go deeper into Naturopath Jodi Gozzard’s expertise on the science of stress, toxicity, brain waves and gene mutation getting closer to the root cause of depression.
Along this enlightening journey of discovery, I go out and ask my audience how stress and toxicity has impacted them in their daily lives and how they manage it. I get an in-depth look at just how deep these things can go and that there is hope in finding a solution, but you have to get to the root. My hope is that this sheds light onto a subject that doesn’t get talked about as much as it should and has become a silent epidemic.
What you will learn:
-That prolonged stress can lead to depression and certain types of brain waves are created from high levels of anxiety at a young age.
-There are so many toxins from the food we eat, to the products that we clean our houses and bodies with. How to find out what they are and steps to greatly reducing them in your life.
-How certain gene mutations prohibit the conversion of folate into methylfolate and that can seriously impact your histamine levels.
