Episode # 009: This is the final part of a series in which I explore the root causes behind depression and the mindsets that can contribute to it, and in the end I’m going to delve into ways to overcome and deal with depression in a healthy and effective way. In this episode I get my boots to the ground and talk with other people suffering from depression and discuss how to distinguish between ADHD and depression. I also talk about how ADHD could be the underpinnings of depression.


I reveal coping strategies for RSD, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem and social isolation that have worked in my life. I do deep with my on the spot guests about their experience with suicidal ideation and I am grateful for their open vulnerability. Suicide is a very real and scary thing and it happens more often than you might think because people just don’t feel safe talking about it. There is hope by reaching out and getting connected to ways to manage through community and medication. Together we can gain more clarity on how we can help fight this and bring it into the light.
