ADHD and Depression: A Silent Epidemic pt. 3 (LA Fires)

Episode # 008: This is the third part of a series in which I explore the root causes behind depression and the mindsets that can contribute to it, and in the end I’m going to delve into ways to overcome and deal with depression in a healthy and effective way. In this episode I talk about the impact of the LA fires and how you can contribute the most to make an impact. I can’t imagine what these folks are going through and just how depressing that might be.
I also talk about how depression continues to affect me even while making this episode in hopes that talking about it will help. I take a look at the connection between upbringing and parenting styles can make a hard situation that much more difficult. How to manage a child who could have depression, what to look for and the differences between it and ADHD. These techniques can be used to explore our own depression by giving ourselves much needed compassion and understanding.
